ERP HEAD TO HEAD™

Do you want to transform yourself from being an ERP project manager, leveraging that experience in an advisory consulting role?

If so, read on…

  • You are an experienced ERP project manager.
  • That’s project manager, not programme manager.
  • You don’t think an ERP project plan can fit on a page.
  • You have run ERP projects with responsibility for delivering all workstreams.
  • You understand how to plan in detail for;
    • The test cycles in ERP programmes
    • Data migration
    • Integration & development
    • As well as design, build an deploy cycles.
    • and of course cutover / go-live
  • You know what good project governance looks like.
  • You understand what change management looks like in an ERP programme and may have been responsible for it on some projects – that would be ideal.
  • You get where agile works and where waterfall is needed.
  • You’ve led implementations from start to finish.
  • Most of your experience is in mid-size organisations where an ERP programme (project) manager is not insulated from the fine detail of the delivery.
  • But you are also adept at managing up to senior stakeholders and sponsors.
  • You probably worked mostly on SAP S/4 HANA, Oracle Fusion, Microsoft D365 F&O/F&SCM, IFS or Infor CloudSuite implementations.
  • You might have some experience of Salesforce, D365 CRM, IBM Maximo or other significant enterprise systems implementations.

You’ve been an ERP project manager for quite a few years. While you’ve enjoyed the adrenaline rush you’d like a change.

How about this?

  • Work for a boutique consulting firm with a flat structure (no politics) and a collaborative culture.
  • As a Principal Consultant you would get to work with mid-size organisations in a variety of sectors across the UK and Ireland, and sometimes further afield - it’s never boring.
  • Our clients range from household names to scale-ups to well established industrials.
  • As a Principal Consultant you would work on, and lead, client projects from ERP and Digital strategy development through preparation, procurement and delivery.
  • Our team is a mix of career consultants and migrants from industry and ERP project management.
  • The latter is what we are looking for right now – to augment and deepen our ERP project management experience and heritage.
  • Our Principals all collaborate on evolving our services and our direction. We want your ERP project management experience to contribute to that.
  • You’ll work on advisory assignments – guiding clients along the way – and sometimes on delivery programmes – driving them along the way.
  • This is a remote role, but we’re not a disconnected team. Active collaboration is essential for us.
  • It’s remote except when on client sites or attending team meetings.
  • And our reward structure includes exceptional holiday allowances – we value a work/life balance.

The successful candidate:

  • must live in either the Republic of Ireland or the United Kingdom
  • be entitled to work in both the EU and the United Kingdom
  • will be employed by either our Irish company or UK company, depending on residency
  • will work from home and be available to travel to client locations as required.
