RNLI chosen for Lumenia Consulting 2025 UK Charity of the Year
The 2025 Lumenia Consulting UK Charity of the Year winner is the RNLI, nominated by Lumenia UK employees, Paul Muspratt and Jim Goodison. The charity is close to both their hearts, whilst Paul is an active volunteer lifeboat crew member.
Lumenia run the ‘Charity of the Year’ initiative as part of its CSR programme and to give something back to the community. This year Lumenia introduced the UK charity donation. Employees are given the opportunity to nominate their chosen charity and the selected charity is chosen by employee vote.

Dunbar RNLI was delighted to receive the donation of £3,000 from Lumenia Consulting. Dunbar RNLI Fundraising Committee chair Veronica Davies said, 'On behalf of everyone at Dunbar RNLI, we are extremely grateful that Lumenia Consulting have chosen to donate such a generous amount to our funds. The £3,000 will help us to buy kit, train new crew members and enable us to continue our vital lifesaving work around our coast’.
The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates over 238 lifeboat stations in the UK and Ireland and more than 240 lifeguard units on beaches around the UK and Channel Islands. The RNLI is independent of Coastguard and government and depends on voluntary donations and legacies to maintain its rescue service. Since the RNLI was founded in 1824 its lifeboat crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,200 lives.
