Lumenia’s 26th ERP HEADtoHEAD™ Showcases Top ERP Solutions in Dublin
The 26th Lumenia ERP HEADtoHEAD™ event took place on 14 - 15 October in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin Airport. Since the event’s inception in 2010, it has grown and expanded to become an annual event both in Ireland and UK. The two day, ERP packed event Agenda, allows delegates to compare top ERP solution providers.
Facilitated by independent ERP and digital transformation consultants, Lumenia Consulting, the event allowed ERP buyers to compare 14 leading solutions, meet with the ERP vendors and see the latest ERP technologies on offer. ERP solutions demonstrated included SAP Business Suite, Oracle NetSuite, Epicor Kinetic, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor CloudSuite, IFS, Sage Intacct, Enterpryze ERP, EFACS E/8, Sage X3 and Intact GenetiQ.
The event featured 28 ERP product demonstrations, four ERP keynote, thought-leadership presentations from Lumenia Consulting, three engaging vendor showcase presentations from Infor, Mysoft and Intact, along with lively panel discussions.
The event kicked off with an introduction from Event Chair Ian O’Toole, Managing Partner at Lumenia Consulting, which was followed by each of the 14 ERP vendors presenting an elevator pitch to introduce themselves to the attendees and convince them as to why they should attend their demonstrations. The delegates then attended various demonstration sessions based on high-level scripts covering Finance, Production, Procurement, Project-based Operations, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, Sales Opportunity to Quote, and Sales Order & Pricing.
Day 1 concluded with an informative and stimulating Panel Discussion on ‘How AI is Transforming the ERP Industry’. Representatives from Binary, Delaware, Infor and ProStrategy discussed how AI projects are delivering value for companies along with expressing interesting views of how AI will influence ERP technology and implementation approach in the future.
There was also ample time for networking and discussion throughout the event in the dedicated expo and meeting room space. The event concluded with a panel discussion comprised of industry end users on ‘Avoiding ERP Implementation Mistakes’, which is always an event highlight.
Throughout the event, delegates scored the ERP vendor demonstrations to determine the best vendor demonstration. The winner of the ‘ERP HEADtoHEAD™ Best Vendor Demonstration – Ireland 2025’ was Aspera Solutions, demonstrating Epicor Kinetic ERP. Aspera achieved an overall delegate satisfaction rating of 97%. In very close second were Intact, demonstrating GenetiQ and in third place were Binary presenting Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM.
